100th Post - Winner!

Congratulations to Kathleen, the winner of our 100th Post Giveaway! I am delighted to announce that Kathleen wins a copy of her favorite book (The House by the Dvina: A Russian Childhood, Eugenie Fraser), my favorite book (Jane Eyre, Charlotte Brontë), and some special Jane Austen bling straight from the Jane Austen Center at Bath, UK. Many congratulations and thanks for the moving comment, Kathleen. I will be contacting you by email soon.
Thank you to everyone for reading and for entering. Stay tuned for future FAN FRIDAYS author interviews... (and more Christian fiction giveaways) as we move forward with our next 100 posts! May Christ be praised in all we do.

In His Love,

So today I want to CELEBRATE the milestones of being 100 years old, 100 blogs and life experiences richer, and the memory of 100 stars having been splashed out across a stunning September sky.

I am having a special GIVEAWAY that will include: A copy of my all-time favorite book  (inscribed with one of my favorite Bible verses), a copy of your favorite book, and some special Jane Austen bling, just for you.

1. The light show of a Minnesota night, waving in and out, looking like thunder without sound, dancing against the sky. So beautiful; I got a crick in my neck watching for so long. Magnificent. I will never forget it (the light show, not the crick).
2. This is a hard one! I prefer Historical Fiction and appreciate the research the author does to set the characters within events/happenings. However, I am going to go with a true one, "The House by the Dvina: A Russian Childhood" by Eugenie Fraser. I saw the book on a chair in an ad for bedding in a magazine, and looked for it at our library. I read it long ago and have never forgotten it.
3. my e-mail is: lanehillhouse[at]centurylink[dot]net

  1. I've ordered the books (they're on the way to my house)... The Jane Austen Center bling might take a little longer to get here. I want to write a message in the front cover of the Jane Eyre book, so I'll get your address from you (via email) once they arrive, and ship it all together.

Thanks for your support and your beautiful comment! Be blessed today. ; )
